The Admissions Specialist is responsible for promoting Montana State University-Northern programs by building relationships with prospective students, high school counselors, teachers and others.
General Duties and Responsibilities includes:
Position Opening | Rocky Mountain College Admissions Counselor
Rocky Mountain College, a small liberal arts institution in Billings, Montana, is accepting applications for an Admissions Counselor. We seek an individual who is competitive, outgoing, team-oriented, and willing to make a difference. Responsibilities include: promotion of the College through presentations at college fairs and high school visits; assisting with campus visitations for prospective students and parents; developing and utilizing a network of counselors to assist in the recruitment process; managing a geographic territory; application review; implementation of successful follow up communication strategies; and representing the College during on and off campus recruiting events. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree from a four- year college or university, willingness to travel, good oral and written communication skills, demonstrated leadership skills; familiarity with database and word processing software, and a valid driver’s license. Demonstrated customer service and/or previous admission experience preferred.
