DUTIES:
This person will create, implement and oversee communications that effectively describe and promote Montana Tech, which includes the creation and management of published undergraduate recruitment content (images, video, written, website, social media). The person must generate, edit, publish and program content daily that appeals to a wide variety of customers.  The person must communicate and collaborate with a series of individuals, including graphic designers, website developers, and contractors.  This person must stay up to date with relevant technologies and communication strategies.  The person in this position will also manage and evaluate a part time Administrative Associate, a full time Communications and Events Manager, and Student Ambassadors.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Bachelor’s Degree plus two years of relevant experience. 
• Hands on experience in content management. 
• The ability to deliver creative content (text, image, video).
• Understand how to use databases and various computer software packages; specifically Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Strong management/supervisory and interpersonal skills. 
• Excellent copywriting and communication skills
• must be analytical, organized, have strong attention to detail, be effective at managing one’s time,
• Ability to be visionary in how small changes may impact other past and future decisions. 
• Strong editing, writing, proofreading, layout and design, printing and publishing skills
• Able to present concepts in a logical manner.  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or Marketing
• Understanding of event planning
• Project management and time management skills
• A wide degree of creativity
• Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital and social media
• Master’s Degree

DUTIES:
The person hired for this position will be a representative for Montana Tech and will attend college fairs, visit high schools and other colleges.  They will communicate with prospects and their guardians by phone, email, mailings, and other correspondence, assist with the creation and editing of publications for students, may supervise students and volunteers who assist with recruitment functions.  The person will expect to research territories and establish relationships with students, parents, counselors, and teachers.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• A Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to Travel Extensively
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Strong communication skills (written, verbal) and attention to detail. The person will be
• expected to follow through on tasks on time and with very little direct supervision; thus, must be
• Organized, goal oriented, with strong attention to detail. 
• comfortable addressing large groups in a professional and enthusiastic manner
• Must be efficient in the use of computers.
• Ability to memorize large volumes of information.
