MPSEOC | Special Board of Director Voting
FOR MPSEOC MEMBERS
BOARD OF DIRECTORS VOTING - Existing Board Member Change Of Institution
| Voting Deadline: Friday, November 16, 2018
We have had one of our existing Board of Directors, Denise Ostberg, switch jobs and move to a new student services role within Great Falls College. Denise was elected to the MPSEOC Board by you about a year ago, and she was at the time working for University of Providence under new students services/admissions. According to our Bylaws the stipulation on membership are: " Any salaried, professional staff member of the admissions, new student services or enrollment management offices of these institutions may attend general meetings of the Corporation."
See overall bylaws @ http://www.mpseoc.org/bylaws.html
With the support of the Admissions / New Student Services / Enrollment Management Office at Great Falls College, they have approved her to stay with the MPSEOC membership, and, therefore, she would still be eligible to fill a role on our MPSEOC Board. However, being that this is a new institution, the Board wanted to do another official vote from you the members on this transition.
Please place your vote in relation to if you are for or against this institution change and proposal to keep Denise Ostberg on the MPSEOC Board for the rest of her elected term limit under her new role at Great Falls College. For more details on Denise's new role, please see her included letter below.
WHO VOTES FOR YOUR INSTITUTION?
Each member institution has one vote for any item requiring a vote of the membership. The Director of Admissions (or the institutional equivalent - Institutional Representative) shall be considered the voting member unless they delegate this responsibility to another member of their staff.
Thank you for helping us keep Montana education connected!
