​You are specially invited to this Pre-Conference gathering for the Montana Tribal College team on August 1, 2022 in Billings, Montana!  This training will be held in conjunction and a day before the overall Montana Summer Conference / MPSEOC on August 2-3, 2022.  We hope you are able to attend this important gathering helping to connect all our 7 Tribal Colleges along with all our Montana Colleges and many state agencies and beyond!

  • Overall Timeframe:  1:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. with informal Dinner following.

    • 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm  |  American Indian College Fund Presentation & Training  |  What do we fund? | Who do we fund? | What resources do we offer?  |  How can we team together more to help students?  |  What makes a successful grant application and success tips? | etc.  (1.5  hours)
    • 3:30 – 3:45 pm  |  Snack Break
    • 3:45 pm – 4:45 pm  |  Montana Tribal College Team – What were high impact practices that each site implemented for this years or past years fairs? | What are areas that are still problematic?   What is working?  What are the outcomes/success stories? | Group discussions and sharing  (1 hour)
    • 4:45 pm  |  Appetizers with Montana Tribal College Team & MPSEOC Board of Directors
    • 5:30 pm +/-  |  Informal Dinner
    • Catering – Snacks / drinks throughout the day with Appetizers at 4:45pm
