New collaboration will provide PNACAC school counselors and IECs, students and their families access to guidance from national experts on college admissions and career exploration
School counselors and IECs guiding students through high school and toward postsecondary paths need easy, accessible ways to educate and prepare students and their families for the college admissions and career exploration process. PNACAC provides many opportunities for professional development (such as the popular CC101 webinar series), but there is always room for additional learning! To help meet this need, especially among counselors in public high schools with high student caseloads, the Pacific Northwest Association for College Admission Counseling (PNACAC) is collaborating with the College Guidance Network (CGN), to help support PNACAC members with personalized college and career information for high school students and the families they serve. CGN’s Emmy award-winning team works with over 275 national experts – admissions deans, financial aid professionals, career pathways specialists and family therapists – to produce a curated offering of live programming and on-demand, personalized resources.
